largeflower Mexican clover, Richardia grandiflora
Largeflower Mexican clover? The flowers are about a half inch long. It's from South America. And it's not a clover. But the flowers are larger than it's relatives. Mexico? South America? They're pretty close, aren't they? And it came here to do lawn jobs that clover doesn't really want to do in Florida. I have to confess I didn't check my model's green card. A relative newcomer, you will find it in Florida lawns and weedy places that are without chemical walls. Polk Co FL, 10/21/15.

Hi Denise
Just thinking it's almost time to come look for Platanthera flava. Bob
Hi Bob:
I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
