rock fumewort, Pseudofumaria lutea
Rock fumewort can often be seen in rock gardens inspired by more human visions than yesterday's Rocky Mountain native. Rock fumewort is a south European native, now widely used in rock gardens and spread to the wild. Here it has been reported wild in NY, OR, and WA. Hidden Lake Gardens, Lenawee Co MI, Lenawee Co MI, 8/10/11. I will be doing a presentation about Lenawee County wildflowers at Hidden Lake Gardens this evening at 7:00.

I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
