purslane speedwell, Veronica peregrina

These little white, or sometimes pale pink flowers seem to show up everywhere. They're only about 3mm. across. Give it some open soil and a little moisture, and up they pop. Native here, they occur in every state, and everywhere in Canada except LB. Purslane speedwell has now spread to the rest of the world. A worldwide seed bank of purslane speedwell, just waiting.
