kiss-me-quick, Portulaca pilosa
Kiss it quick before it fades! These little blossoms each last but a few hours. These are low plants, often forming mats, and often near shores. It is another invasive, but believed to have started here and spread around the world, mostly in the tropics. The flowers are about a half inch across. It has been found in AL, AR, CO, FL, GA, HI, KS, LA, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NM, NY, OK, SC, TN, and TX. Polk Co FL, 3/18/16. Purslane family, Portulacaceae.

I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
