faux persil, Cardiospermum corindum
Variabilty in flower structure, even among close relatives is amazing. It seems like one of the most distinctive traits that has evolved in plants is the ability to evolve. Petals in particular seem to change with the least whim. Just look at the soapberry family. Would you believe faux persil is closely related to the maples? Or to goldenrain tree? Faux persil is a vine in AZ, FL, and TX, probably not native. Monroe Co FL, 3/21/16. Soapberry family, Sapindaceae.

Hi Denise
Just thinking it's almost time to come look for Platanthera flava. Bob
Hi Bob:
I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
