Along the trail at Riley there was a mature blooming grass. Grass flowers in March, on stems already a foot tall? It appears early bluegrass has learned that the woods are a lot more windy in March than they are after leaves appear on trees. It was a little breezy that day, so here we have pollination in motion. It turned out to be impossible to get the dangly little anthers to stop moving. Took a lot of shots hoping to get lucky, and this was the best.
