small geranium, Geranium pusillum
Walking the dog? That's a happy little dance you break into when you spot a new wildflower while walking the dog! This is a tiny geranium, with flowers only three sixteenths inch across. You kind of have to get down with the dog to see it. Fortunately, the neighbor's weed was my wildflower. Small geraniums are another Eurasian immigrant, now found in every state except AL, AZ, LA, MS, NM, NV, and RI, and is in BC, MB, NS, ON, QC, SK, and GL. Leanwee Co MI, 6/3/20. Geranium family, Geraniaceae.

Hi Denise
Just thinking it's almost time to come look for Platanthera flava. Bob
Hi Bob:
I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
