tasteless stonecrop, Sedum sexangulare
Has anyone tasted this to verify its name? I haven't. Maybe it's more about its character. It's a pretty little pest. Bring it home, and soon it wants to wander. It will spread from that nice spot in the rocks to the lawn and beyond. But it must have some limits because the one spot near here that it grows wild has stayed the same for at least four decades without spreading farther. This Eurasian has spread from gardens in CT, IL, IN, MA, MI, NH, OH, VT, and ON. Lenawee Co MI, 6/12/11. Stonecrop family, Crassulaceae.

Hi Denise
Just thinking it's almost time to come look for Platanthera flava. Bob
Hi Bob:
I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
