Easter lily, Lilium longiflorum
I was sitting in the chair and Winston flopped up on my lap to have his eras scratched. I soon became aware of a very strange dog odor. Then realized the aroma was coming from behind me, from the mantle. No longer strange. But very strange I needed that to start thinking of our blessings. It's never too late to celebrate. And to remember the prices paid so that we have them. In AL, FL, TX, and UT, Easter lilies have been reported wild.

Hi Denise
Just thinking it's almost time to come look for Platanthera flava. Bob
Hi Bob:
I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
