trailing bushclover, Lespedeza procumbens
Trailing bushclover borrows its bushclover name from relatives that have a much taller and bushier nature. These stems sprawl along the ground, sending up short flowering stems with quarter-inch blooms. Trailing bushclover is a Michigan rarity, found only three times, none likely to be current. One of the delights of wildflower excursions is seeing these plants that we can no longer find near home. Trailing bushclover grows mostly in forest openings in AL, AR, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, and WV. Scioto Co OH, 10/2/21. Bean family, Fabaceae.

Hi Denise
Just thinking it's almost time to come look for Platanthera flava. Bob
Hi Bob:
I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
