fourleaf milkweed, Asclepias quadrifolia
Fourleaf is a relatively unassuming milkweed, only a couple feet tall, and often producing just one umbel. It's a plant of woodlands, blooming just as spring turns to summer. The Cherokee used infusions for at least seven different ailments, and also used its fiber for bowstrings. Fourleaf milkweed grows in AL, AR, CT, DE, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, MN, MO, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, VA, VT, WV, and ON. Highland CO OH, 6/1/21. Dogbane family, Apocynaceae.

I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
