Finally, spiderlilies! Hoped to see some wild in the South for a long time. They just seem so exotic. But which one is it? A careful reading of descriptions of this and H. occidentalis can still leave you puzzled. Even the authors in Flora of North America note that herbarium specimens are hard to distinguish.
