Dalmatian toadflax, Linaria dalmatica
Dalmatian toadflax is much like butter-and-eggs (L. vulgaris). These plants are larger, and the flowers have less contrast in color. They've both been garden plants and escaped to our wilds. Dalmatian is less widespread and frequent, but still has become officially noxious in 12 states. It occurs in AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, MA, ME, MI, MN, MT, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SD, UT, VT, WA, WI, WY, AB, BC, MB, NB, NF, NS, ON, QC, and SK. Lenawee Co MI, 6/1/14. Plantain family, Plantaginaceae.

Hi Denise
Just thinking it's almost time to come look for Platanthera flava. Bob
Hi Bob:
I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
