Parsnips

One of the many great things about the volunteer crew at Ives Fen Preserve is periodic outings to the Purple Rose Theater in Chelsea.  Sam schedules that for us a few times a year.  Great shows!  Great company!  Thanks Sam!  But what does that have to do with parsnips?  After the show we have dinner, usually at the Common Grill.  A couple times ago I had a dish that included parsnips in the vegetable mix.  It worked quite well.  After mixing them in with onions and other stuff, and adding the sauce, I couldn't taste them.
