Serenity and bittercress
This shot of Pennsylvania bittercress was taken on a solo walk through Georgia woods. So serene. Much more natural for an avoidant personality like me. Speaking of serenity, I spent much of yesterday doing presentations to sixth graders at Weber Center. That's an adjunct of the Dominican Sisters, who have a retirement home here. The place is positively infused with serenity. They literally work hard at it. Between the Sisters and the sixth graders, I came away positively enthused with serenity. Solo walks in the forest aren't the only way to get there!

Hi Denise
Just thinking it's almost time to come look for Platanthera flava. Bob
Hi Bob:
I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
