River Raisin
This is the river at Ives Preserve. The Raisin was once listed by Guiness as the most crooked river in the world. Not sure how that would be determined, but it makes sense. If you walk through the woods along the river at Ives, you soon realize you're really not sure which way you're going, or how much progress you might have made. Terrific way to get away from it all!

I found it on Eber Rd, about 1.5 mi S. of Kitty Todd Preserve 1/4 mi from Metroparks land. I’m guessing it came in on the RR. (NwOhio)
Apparently so, but not on all plants. The brown only shows a little in this image.
Regarding umber pussytoes, one reference calls it brown-brackted pussytoes. Are it's bracts browner than other pussytoes?
